Zac is pretty busy these days teaching, and being the Music Department Chairman, at Pasadena City College So he's not currently taking on private bass students. But his areas of expertise include:

Education:
Zac holds Bachelor of Music in Bass Performance and Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory/History degrees as well as an Honors College Diploma from Washington State University He also holds a Masters degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Southern California
Honors
Honored in Down Beat, Jazziz, Cadence, Victory Review and numerous newspaper features, Zac was also recognized as the Presser Scholar, recognizing the outstanding Senior music student at WSU, and USC's Outstanding Jazz Studies Graduate student.
Teaching Experience
Zac has been very involved with education working with young musicians in private lessons and as the Director of Burton Jazz Camp near Seattle, Washington. Zac currently teaches at Pasadena City College where he is the Music Department Chairman. He has taught at USC, Cal Poly Pomona, the Los Angeles Music Academy., the Arts Magnet at Hamilton High School,the Bud Shank's Jazz Workshop, Frank DeMiero's Jazz Camp, Burton Music Camp, Whitman College, Columbia Basin Jazz Festival, Bellevue Jazz Festival, the University of Idaho Jazz Festival and the British Columbia Interior Jazz Festival. Zac has lectured on Jazz, Jazz history and other subjects in Washington, Oregon and California. Zac has taught hundreds of students privately.
